Salary
Pay Rate: £18,520 per year
What you will do
This position is based at our Great North Road warehouse in Hatfield (AL9 5JN)
What is required of you
- Picking & packing of fresh, chilled & frozen goods
- Loading and unloading of product
- Operating van and equipment in accordance with manufacturers' specification and company instructions
- Maintain clean appearance of van by complying with company policies, procedures and standards
- Ensure van is fuelled and road ready
- Maintain a work rate level that meets with the demands of the delivery schedule
- Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate and liaise with customers and transport team/managers when necessary
- Attend and participate in training opportunities to update your job knowledge
- Follow Health & Safety procedures in the warehouse and in our shops
Requirements
This is a physically demanding role, so you will possess a good level of physical fitness
You will hold a full clean driving licence
As you will be working to packing & delivery schedules you should be fluent in English
You should be able to work on your own as well as in a group
